Cap's back!

Cap's out of the bag now - the new series debuts July 13th, the week before the Captain America movie opens. Written by Ed Brubaker and illustrated by Steve; this series marks the first time Steve has worked with Ed and all signs point to a sure-fire hit!

Fear Itself cover and other stuff

Fear Itself, Marvel's "big event" book for the summer of 2011 will have covers by Steve, the first of which is shown here:



Written by Matt Fraction and illustrated by Stuart Immonen and Wade von Grawbadger with covers by Steve and variant covers by Stuart. More info on the series can be found at MTV GEEK.

Steve's cover for 4 #1 has become somewhat iconic, having been used on shirts, calendars, books and now on a comic for Taco Bell! Details here. Hope these are available in Canada, I want to check out some of these comics! Colleen Coover is awesome.

The Nemesis hardcover collection is out now at your local comic or book store!

a New York Times best-seller!

Steve and Mark Millar's Old Man Logan hardcover leapt onto the NYTimes list of best-selling comics this week, or "graphic books" as the Times likes to call them.

Old Man Logan concluded!


This Wednesday, Sept. 23rd, will see the release of Giant-size Old man Logan! The final chapter in the Old Man Logan storyline by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven. For a preview of some of the interior pages, click here and scroll down a bit.

Steve will be signing copies of Giant-size Old Man Logan at Strange Adventures on Wednesday, Sept. 23rd from 5-6PM.

Did you know Steve is one of the nominees in Spike TV's Scream awards? Well, he is!

Shuster nominees announced



Steve was nominated for outstanding artist for his work on Amazing Spider-Man #546-548 and Wolverine #66-70; and also outstanding cover for the variant cover to Kick Ass #1. More info on the Shuster Awards, named for Superman co-creator Joe Shuster, can be found here. Winners will be announced at a public ceremony in Toronto on June 27th, 2009.

Steve's hard at work on the last chapters of "Old Man Logan" right now and is contemplating what to do next. Any suggestions as to what you would like to see Steve next work on at Marvel?

Wolverine #71

the new issue of Wolverine just came out. It's the sixth part of the eight part story entitled "Old Man Logan" and written by Mark Millar, inks by Dexter Vines and colours by Morry Hollowell. Get it now at your local comic book store!
